08 CARLA - Summer Shorts - Sewing Pattern

Carla is the perfect summer shorts style. A simple pull-on style with both side seam pockets and back patch pockets. An elasticated channel waist with a little “pie crust” edge and a mock fly front. Wear as summer shorts or comfy sleep shorts. Covers UK sizes 6 to 24.

The pdf download contains three files, an A0 copy shop file, a print at home file plus a file containing full instructions. Printing at home will take 21 sheets of paper. The copy shop file fits to one sheet of A0 paper. Once an order is placed you will receive an email confirming your purchase plus another email containing a link to your downloads, please check your "Junk" folder.

You will receive the full scale (A0) pattern printed on 60gsm paper which can be easily cut and pinned but is not fragile. The instructions are NOT printed.

Please ensure you also download and save your purchased pdf files as these contain the instructions and you may also wish for further copies of the pattern in the future.

SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER

SUGGESTED FABRICS: Light to medium weight woven fabrics e.g. cottons and cotton mixes, linen and linen mixes, lightweight denims.

FABRIC NEEDED:

For 112cm (44”) wide fabric: 140cm (55”) for sizes S/M/L or 160cm (63“) for sizes XL/XXL.

For 140cm (55”) wide fabric: 110cm (43“) for sizes S/M or 140cm (55”) for sizes L/XL/XXL.

ALSO NEEDED: 

Up to 110cm (43”) of 3.2cm (1.25”) wide elastic plus matching sewing thread.
