I'm Sue, the founder of Fieldwork Patterns, a collection of styles inspired by the clothes I have made with and for my teenage daughter, Georgina. We would really love to share some of those styles with you and hope you will join us on our sustainable style journey.
Having worked in London for many years as a professional Pattern Cutter for brands such as Jaeger, Burberry and Amanda Wakeley, I relocated to the beautiful Isle of Wight where I continue to work as a Freelance Pattern Cutter. The more I became aware of the impact fashion is having on our planet the more I wanted to do something different and decided to launch Fieldwork Patterns.
I truly hope these exciting new patterns will inspire you to create your own clothes and enjoy the sense of achievement making something unique can bring, along with that buzz of having something special to wear that will become a lasting piece in your wardrobe.
We have some very exciting plans to expand and will soon be launching our 'sustainable style store'. Sign up for our newsletter for updates.
